Check these wheels out that we offer:
Team Dynamics Pro Race II 17x7 Chrome wheel pics. This wheel weighs 18.1 lb with the chrome plating and 17.25 without. It’s lighter than a 16x6 slicer. On a (dirty) car with TCE SHO Stopper Jr. front (DP calipers – sealed), and 11.6” rear kit. How do you like the looks of this wheel? E-me offline if interested, chromed or not. Other colours available are Silver, Black, Bronze, and White.

Josh,
Very nice! I have TD DTM's on my car, 17x7.5, powdercoated anthracite (dark gray metallic). I like the quality of their wheels. I've always had a soft spot for 5-spoke wheels. Those TD's have the look of the 6-spoke Centerline RPM's (which I lust after ), but can we assume they have a higher load rating than the RPM's 1200lbs??Steve C.

Yes, the Team Dynamics wheels are tough. Their load rating is more than ample for the SHO. Plus I've heard they are really a straight and true wheel and stay that way.
Josh, are these the wheels you had the group buy on last fall? Regrettably I couldn't get in on that one. I would have wanted 17X7.5 or 17X8"

Very nice.
What type of suspension does that SHO have. It seems to kind of be sagging in the rear, maybe it's just the angle of the picture.

Could someone please tell me how to contact team dynamics. I bought some used bbs replica rims 17x7.5 with no center caps. I've called the tirerack twice and went to townfair tire. They told me team dynamics was part of the tirerack. The tirerack said no way. All I want is some center caps!!!!!!!!

Those wheels just look like the Centerline RPM's that I want. Hopefully, it'll support more than 1200lb/wheel!?
How much are they? How's availability? After looking at team dynamics website, I really really like the "Pro Forged" (Vector) wheel. The 18" only weighs 16.54 lbs. Anyone know if they make it to fit our GEN II cars? Josh, Do you know price, availability, and load capacity of this wheel?

Although I'm very interested in seeing a photo of the non chrome if possible... This has grabbed my interest for sure. O/T: I currently run those Kuhmo tires as well... how does the owner like them?

Sorry it took so long for us to reply, but it's been insane trying to get ready for the convention .. lots of new SHO NUT products rolling out - cams, pistons, fuel pressure regulator kits, intercooler kits, pre-blower throttle body kits, wideband setups, TwEECer RT's, and we can't forget the wheels - not to mention working like mad to get the car ready.
I'll try and answer all the questions at once, please remind me if I've missed anybody. Available Sizes The PR-II is available in 7" widths only for 16" and 17" sizes (7.5" for the 18", contact us if you want pricing on the 18" wheel) Pricing PR-II pricing is $155.00 each including shipping for 16x7 $175.00 each including shipping for 17x7 The shipping allowance is $15/wheel, which can be waived if you pick the wheels up in Ontario, California. The pricing applies to any colour. Chrome is available for an additional $110/wheel. Thus the wheels in the pictures cost $1,140 for the set of 4, delivered. The same set in Silver, Black, White, or Bronze, would be $700 for a set of 4, delivered. Here is a picture of Flat Black and Silver ![]() ![]() We will be taking better pictures of the Silver on various cars. Load Rating These are heat-treated road race wheels. As such, they are the strongest wheels that Team Dynamics offers, and have the highest load rating of any car wheel they offer. They have a load rating of 625 kg. This works out to 1375 lb per wheel, which is more than a fully loaded 4500 lb SHO with 60% of the weight on the front wheels. Last Year's Offering Last Year's Offering was the PR-I in 17x8 (or 17x7 or 17x7.5). That has still not materialized, the 17x8 has been very slow to production, unlike the PR-II or the PR-I in narrower sizes which are (relatively) readily available. Here are the details for the PR-I. The PR-I is available in 17x7, 17x7.5, and 17x8, but no 16" sizes. The PR-I pricing is: $175.00 each including shipping for 17x7.0 $182.50 each including shipping for 17x7.5 $190.00 each including shipping for 17x8.0 This is a pic of the Pro Race I ![]() ![]() Availability We have one set of PR-II available in 17x7 in silver or chrome. Any other size/colour needs to be ordered, and takes 6-10 weeks to come in. We are working on stocking, but we are selling them faster than we can stock them. Car in the Picture The car in the picture has a fresh set of Eibach springs. However the picture is taken on a hill, so the front looks artifically high, and the rear looks artificially low. We will be re-taking better photographs later - these were taken quickly to get the info out. Fitment These wheels are available in nearly any bolt circle, and a wide range of offsets. As long as the Wagon has the same amount of space in the back as a sedan, they should fit. In any case, these are 'only' 7" wheels, and can 'only' take a 235 tire, which is not that hard to fit, especially since the 45 mm offset chosen tucks the tire in as far as possible - there is JUST enough space to clear the strut tube with a 235 tire, and thus the maximum available clearance to the fender that one can get with a 235 tire. Available offsets/bolt circles/caliper clearances/colours are here: http://www.shonutperformance.com/150small.pdf small scan of a brochure http://www.shonutperformance.com/200large.pdf large scan of a brochure http://www.shonutperformance.com/6670_Profile.pdf 16x7.0 Pro Race II offsets and bolt circles http://www.shonutperformance.com/6770_Profile.pdf 17x7.0 Pro Race II offsets and bolt circles http://www.shonutperformance.com/17x8e38PR1.PDF 17x8 Pro Race I detailed caliper clearance http://www.shonutperformance.com/5775.pdf 17x7.5 Pro Race I offsets and bolt circles http://www.shonutperformance.com/57802.pdf 17x8.0 Pro Race I offsets and bolt circles Forged Wheels The forged wheels on the www.teamdynamicsracing.com site are theoretically available in basically any offset and bolt circle, but in reality, it will be a while before we can offer them. The development of these wheels is quite slow, so availability is a LONG way off. Note that forged, while light, is VERY $$$. We do not have prices on the forged, nor can we get prices at this time. Kumho Tires The owner loves them. ![]() I think I got them all, let me know if I missed any. BTW, we are planning on bringing a single 17x7.0 Pro Race II in silver to the convention for viewing, and the blower car should be wearing 16x7.0 Pro Race II wheels in silver as well for track wheels. As before, if you are interested, please contact us at sales@shonutperformance.com ESPECIALLY if you want a set of 17x7.0 Pro Race II in chrome. I'd be willing to offer a one-time special price on this available set. |

BTW, 93 mm is as big as you can safely go in a thick-walled 93-95 block (ATX or MTX, same thick-wall block casting, different finished bore) before having to worry about hitting the stock 3.2L head gasket, which is 93.6 mm. The 89-92 blocks have thinner walls, and should not be bored past 92 mm (3.2L) without checking for wall thickness. |

Josh:
a) have fun at the convention! b) if you ever get Don K to start shipping the black Pro Race 1's in 17x8, let me know. I currently have 2 sets of 17x8's but they're both heavy wheels. With the removal of the headers & true duals, and dropping the boost to about 10psi, I'm focusing on weight savings now, without sacrificing the wider wheels & tires. Thanks! Also, the weights for the white 17x7 PR1's (original build, no centercap provisions) ran 15.75lb each when I got mine in last year, FWIW. They tend to over-list the weight online. |

I just weighed the 16x7 Pro Race II's that just arrived, and they were 14.9 lb. BTW, the Pro Race II silver is called 'Glitter Silver', and not the ice silver shown. It's more silver than white, i.e. it looks more like the High Power Silver in the pictures than the Ice Silver. |
