Default Strange Rattling Sound

I just changed my oil and notice when the cars idling there's a slight rattling sound from under the valve covers.

Any idea what this may be?

Have you checked the oil levels again? often times the car needs to be run a little to insure the oil is well spread.

BUT these cars have a history of clicking and ticking. they just do it. the best way to solve it is to do a valve shim kit which is sold by SHOSource. http://shosource.com/catalog/product...roducts_id=114 and yes this is going to be a lot of work. ive been putting doing my car off for some time now.

could just be injectors ticking, could be cam chain not properly tensioned, could be valves need shimmed, could be loose valve guides, etc. etc.

What weight/brand of oil did you use? If you say 5w20, I'm going to wait until middle september, come up there and throw a snowball at you.
