05-09 mustang mufflers

Has anyone put the newer mustang mufflers ( factory or aftermarket ) on there Gen3's. I found a set of JBA mufflers cheap. They have 3 inch stainless tips about 5 inches long.

Not that I know of, but I know the GT mufflers sound great on the V6 SHO.

Mine have yet to show up, the guy I was supposed to get them from never sent them. So I am no help, still really wanting to hear this though...

Ban for necroposting?.....everyone knows a gen 3 only needs bits of tubing and a boomtube out the pass side.




And Ahh, a hoosier, did Aldrich bring an engine down for you last year? If so, you saw my front clip.....lol

Here is a link to what the JBA's sounds like on my old silver Gen3. Car had 3rd cat delete and resonator removed. No longer have the silver car, but I cut off the mufflers and will be installing them on my new black Gen3.

Did you polish the tips?

Nope, thats how they came. Wanted polished tips already on the mufflers. They even had JBA engaved on the top of them.

Oh, just to note to anyone interested, if you get them and they appear to be silver, hit em with steel wool and neverdull and they'll shine like chrome without having to add tips
