Anyone near where i can get a "powered by yamaha" emblem on the front of my sho?
usually on e-bay but I just scaned thru and didnt see one... keep checking around sometimes one of the guys on here will have one they wanna get rid of.
not olny that but there is a website where you can get them.
heres your cheapest best bet.
take the ford one off go to a print shop and go to a yamaha dealer get get whatever you want and tell the people at the print shop how you want it done like color, words, whatever.
heck go crazy have them laser sign it make it clearish and put lights in it lol
Not sure if this place is legit, but I found them here http://www.wclewis.com/html/89-95_sho_badges.html
Thats were mine came from, That site is very legit and Will Lewis is great to deal with.
See my thread about them here: http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=57739
they fit very well too and look OEM, i had my aunt ask when yamaha made cars...
i think i may order me some for one of my cars hell maybe 2
wclewis has them in a variety of colors
So how do you take the ford symbol out without damage the bazel..
I used a steak knife! I removed all the blue and silver on the ford emblem and painted the ford Red and the background black for Tim's car. The first few were alittle cloudy but after alittle trial and error I think it looks great!
I bought mine from Will Lewis. I love em.
I taped off the chrome surrounding then used a small flathead screw driver and pried it out.
Sounds like a lot of fun, when mingun is finished it will have these in place of the Ford emblems on the grill center and trunk, just to confuse people
use a heat gun ot blow dryer and a nylon
i also got a set from Will Lewis about a year or so ago custom made they look OEM......just wrote him before hand and told him how i wanted em made and he did em perfectly
i would deffinatlly go thru him if u want good quality ones at a great price
Funny, I'm removing mine LOL
i'm ordering some for mine!!! i can't wait!!
